Non-Paddling Participants

Due to the remote nature of Millinocket Stream, most of the rapids require a bush whack to view. The easiest option to view paddlers is to seek out the many bridges in town that go over Millinocket Stream.

If you are up for an adventure and want to see the action, once on the Staceyville Road, from the Sawmill Bar and Grill, travel a few miles until you see a large gravel pit (Turtle Pit) on your right can park here and follow the sound of the river. You can also see a few sections of whitewater from the road on the right hand side. Park at the pit or well off the road to view the paddlers shooting the largest rapid of the event.
